[Labor] How To Submit Personal Information Processing Impact Assessment Documents Based On Decree No.13

2023/12/14

Based on Decree 13/2023/ND-CP (hereinafter referred to as “Decree No.13”), personal information managers and processors at companies must prepare and store a personal information processing impact assessment document, and send a copy of it to the Cyber Security Ministry of Public Security. and the High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control Agency (A05). When submitting, companies can choose one of three methods:

  • 1. Submit “in person” on A05 (Address: 243 Khuat Duy Tien Street, Nhan Chinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City)
    Note: Document reception hours: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • 2. Submit by mail to the address in A05 above.
  • 3. Submitted on the Ministry of Public Security’s “website” regarding personal information protection
Until now, there was no specific guidance on how to use the website, but the Ministry of Public Security recently released the website.
  • In our experience, there are currently cases where A05 does not confirm or respond to the submission method 2. “By post”, so we recommend the submission method 1. “Directly” or 3. Submission via the “website”.
