1. Personal Information

4. Purpose of use of personal information

I-GLOCAL will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without obtaining the prior consent of the individual. In case the personal information is acquired for purposes other than those listed above, we will ask an advanced confirmation, excepting these below cases:
(1) When required by law
(2) When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned.
(3) Cases in which the provision of personal information is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned.
(4) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining your consent is likely to impede the execution of such affairs.
6. Proper acquisition of personal information
I-GLOCAL acquires personal information in an appropriate manner without deception or other wrongful means. Besides, we will not collect personal information of children under the age of 15 without the consent of their parent or guardian.
7. Consent to collection of personal information
I-GLOCAL will disclose the purpose of use of personal information in advance when acquiring such information. However, this does not apply in the following cases:
(1) When it may harm the life, body, property, other rights, interests of others or a third party.
(2) When it may harm I-GLOCAL’s rights or legitimate interests.
(3) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency or local government in the execution of its legally prescribed duties.
(4) When it is recognized that the purpose of use is clear from the circumstances of acquisition

If thers is any changes of the purpose of use of personal information, we will ask an advanced confirmation.

I-GLOCAL has builded internal rules for the protection of personal information to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and otherwise ensure the safe management.
10. Supervision of subcontractor
When entrusting all or part of the handling of services that are included personal information to a subcontractor, I-GLOCAL will conclude a confidentiality agreement with them or require them to agree to terms and conditions stipulated.

I-GLOCAL will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the individual, except in the following cases

However, the following cases do not fall under the category of third parties as set forth above.
(1) When I-GLOCAL outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
(2) When personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to merger or other reasons
(3) Cases in which personal information is used jointly with a specific party, and in which the company notifies the person in advance, or makes readily accessible to the person, this fact, the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of joint use, the purpose of use by the party using the information, and the name of the party responsible for managing the personal information. I-GLOCAL will not disclose personal information to any third party without the prior consent of the individual concerned.

When I-GLOCAL jointly uses personal information with a specific person, and when the purpose of use or the name of the person responsible for the management of the personal information is changed, I-GLOCAL notifies the person in advance or makes the changes readily accessible to the person.

12. Publishing personal and private Information
I-GLOCAL will make the following matters concerning personal information available to the person concerned and will respond without delay upon the person’s request
(1) Purposes for which personal information is used (except for items for which there is no obligation to do so under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information)

13. Disclosure of personal information

When receiving a request from an individual for disclosure of his/her personal information, I-GLOCAL will disclose such information to the individual without delay. However, I-GLOCAL may decide not to disclose all or part of the information if disclosure would result in any of the following cases with an advanced confirmation:
(1) When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, other rights, interests of the person in question or a third party.
(2) If there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper conduct of I-GLOCAL’s business
(3) When it violates other laws and regulations.

In principle, I-GLOCAL will not disclose any information other than personal information, such as access logs.

14. Correction of personal information
If receiving a request from an individual to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as “correction”) on his/her personal information on the grounds that it is untrue, I-GLOCAL will correct the content of the personal information based on the results, and notify the individual to that effect, unless special procedures are provided for under other laws.
15. Suspension of use of personal information
If receiving a request from an individual to stop using or delete (hereinafter referred to as “suspension”) on his/her personal information on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use publicly announced in advance or that it has been obtained through deception or other wrongful means, I-GLOCAL will conduct the necessary investigation without delay and, based on the results of the investigation, suspend the use of the personal information and notify the individual to that effect. However, if it is difficult to suspend the use of personal information due to the large amount of costs involved or other reasons, and alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the individual can be taken, these alternative measures will be taken.
16. Explanation of reasons
In case we decides to do any of the following, we will endeavor to explain the reason for such decision when notifying the individual:
(1) Not notify you of the purpose of use
(2) Not disclose all or part of the personal information
(3) Stop using personal information
(4) Stop providing personal information to third parties
