[Human Resources and Labor Affairs] Introduction of a new portal site for applying for Vietnamese electronic visas (e-visas)

On November 11, 2024, the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security’s Immigration Department updated its e-visa application portal and launched a new application portal with the aim of streamlining the e-visa application process for foreigners.

Companies and individuals wishing to apply for an e-visa guarantee for foreigners can do so at the following website:
https://evisa.gov.vn

The new portal site now includes a Q&A section in both English and Vietnamese, making it easier to find information.

Currently, the processing period for electronic visa applications is three business days. However, officials from the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and Immigration Department recommend that applicants carefully review the information they enter into the application portal and ensure it is accurate and complete in accordance with the guidelines to avoid processing delays or issues upon entry.
